App looks nice enough, but didn't work for check-in. I checked in on the app, followed the instructions, but the terminals in the hotel then just kept saying they couldn't find my booking so couldn't issue my key. So then I had to go to the desk and she said words to the effect of, "Oh we've not finished setting up the app, you still have to check in manually." So why did the app tell me I was checked in, and why did the terminals tell me I just didn't have a booking at all? Half-baked.

Premier Inns are ok. You know what you are getting. I object to the misleading ads that show 20% off as though this is a special offer when in fact they are referring to the difference between flexible and standard (non refundable). It's not a special offer at all.

Scanner in the hotel would not scan the qr code in the app. The app falsely states that the restaurant in the hotel is closed but you can collect a free continental breakfast. Come down for breakfast and the restaurant is fully open and chargeable. EDIT: The support email for the app generates an auto response stating this is an out of use email address.
